This is a monthly open mic for all writers – songwriters, poets, fiction writers, anything writers – that I’ve cohosted with author/musician Jen Frankel since February 2024.

Saudade (June 2025)
From June 4 to 7, 2025, I was one of several artists involved in a multidisciplinary project (theatre, music, dance) produced by Pamela Blackwood-Marques. Here are a couple of my musical interludes.
Saudade (August 2024)
On August 29 & 30, 2024, I was one of several musicians and actors involved in Saudade, a Mediterranean themed event produced by Pamela Blackwood-Marques. I performed during the musical interludes (with guitarist Joe Maio).
Piano in the Parlour (June 2024)
On June 10, 11 & 12, 2024, I was part of a multidisciplinary performance produced by Pamela Blackwood-Marques (Voices For Hire) called Midsummer Night’s Dreamscape. Scenes from Shakespeare’s Midsummer Night’s Dream were performed in the front and back gardens of a private home (114 Herkimer, Hamilton, ON). I was one of several musicians providing entertainment between scenes.

Songwriter’s Open Circle
From February 2023 until August 2024, I hosted a semiregular event I created called the Songwriter’s Open Circle & Lyric Party – a kind of open mic for singer-songwriters, not only to play their original music, but to talk about their inspirations, and the songwriting process.
